59 Wheeling Cardinals Land on All-MEC Academic Team

Bridgeport, W. Va. – As the Mountain East Conference (MEC) announces their academic honors on Tuesday, they presented their All-MEC Academic Team. The Wheeling University Athletic Department had 59 student-athletes make the list, beating last year's number by 22 players. Wheeling placed 115 student-athletes on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, and more than half of those players appear on the All-MEC Academic Team.
