All-American honors come in for Dempsey

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University's Evan Dempsey earned a triad of awards Tuesday from two different groups in collegiate baseball, with Perfect Game naming him Collegiate 2-Way Player of the Year and First Team All-American and the American Baseball Coaches Association awarding Dempsey First Team All-Southeast Region as a starting pitcher.
