Blue Devils eighth, Filipiak fifth in final meet before conference championship

The UW-Stout women's golf team wrapped regular competition play this weekend by participating in the two-day St. Catherine Fall Invitational Sunday at Eagle Valley Golf Course. As a team, Stout played eighth, while Abbey Filipiak finished fifth. The Blue Devil junior stayed in the mid-70s both days, hitting a 75 on the opening day at Oak Glen Golf Course in Stillwater, Minn., and a 76 on the second day at Eagle Valley to finish with a seven-over 151.
