Forty-nine Flagler student-athletes earn D2 ADA honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Flagler College had 49 of its student-athletes recognized by the Division II Athletics Directors Association (DII ADA) for their academic excellence while being an athlete. The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level. Flagler was one of seven Peach Belt Conference member institutions to have student-athletes honored.
One hundred sixty-nine institutions sent in nominees for the 2021-22 Academic Achievement Awards, while a record breaking 16,639 student-athletes were recognized this year. In order for a student-athlete to receive an Academic Achievement Award, the athletics director of the Division II institution must be a current dues paying member of the DII ADA.
