[Golf] OLLU men's and women's golf finish play at Claude Jacobs Invitational

VICTORIA, TEXAS (March 30, 2021) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's and women's golf teams completed play at the Claude Jacobs Invitational on Monday. The men's team finished in seventh place after three rounds. Three women competed in individuals for the Saints in two rounds of play. Ceci Lattuada (FR/Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico) finished third overall with a total of 158. Kane Ybarra (SR/San Antonio, Texas) took fourth place overall for the men's team.Head Coach Arnie Martinez commented, "Unfortunately we didn't play well in this event. Inclement weather affected us on the first day and we couldn't seem to catch any momentum throughout the event. I'm proud of how the guys fought through adversity out there. Ybarra played well and had a good showing. We have a month until conference to fix what needs fixing. We will work and be better next event."
