Johnson grabs MVP honors as Women finish 3rd, Men finish 4th at CIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

DURHAM, NC — The Saint Augustine's University Men and Women took to the track for the CIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend at Durham County Stadium.  The Women's team finished 3rd and the Men's team finished 4th in the overall standings despite some strong performances from the team.  The CIAA recognized Malaysia Johnson (Fort Lauderdale, FL, Dillard HS) as the Women's Championship MVP for Running Events at the conclusion of the meet.  Johnson contributed 21 points from first place in the 400m and second place in the 200m and a leg on the 4×100 relay for the Falcons.
