Lowe and Pollard earn WHAC Player of the Week

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – In the final Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) weekly awards of the 2021-22 year, Cornerstone men's golfer Isaiah Lowe and women's track & field athlete Nygia Pollard earn WHAC honors. Lowe earns the honors after winning the rescheduled Steven Tyler Memorial Classic down in Kalamazoo, shooting a 74 to win the event. Pollard returned to action after battling injury with her first 3000m steeplechase attempt of the year, and she finished with a time of 11:08.57 out in Iowa at the Drake Relay's. This mark goes down as an NAIA automatic standard in her first attempt of the year and will send her to Gulf Shores, Alabama for the National Championships in the end of May.
