Salina, Kan. – The Friends University Men's Golf Falcon "B" squad produced a solid fourth-place showing at the Central Plains Invitational this week at the Salina Country Club in Salina, Kan.Leading the way for the Falcons was Gerardo Alemany (SO) with a third-place individual finish.Alemany shot 70, then 63 and 70 again for a 203 overall score."Gerardo played very focused over the past two days," said Dustin Galyon, Friends University Director of Golf and men's golf head coach. "His mental toughness is fantastic and he took another step forward! His confidence and ability continue to increase week by week!"Right behind Alemany was Sander Fjell (FR) (70-72-68-210) in a tie for sixth overall.Trinton Nobles (SO) (74-69-69-212) also finished in the top 10 by coming in tied for ninth for the Falcons.The Men's Golf Falcons will now gear up for KCAC Match Play on Oct. 3-4 at the Mariah Hills Golf Course in Dodge City, Kan.For full results of the Central Plains Invitational, click HERE.
