[Men's Golf] Bowen, Stewart garner KCAC Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete recognition

WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University men's golf student-athletes Carter Bowen (FR/Medford, Okla. ) and Ethan Stewart (FR/Wichta, Kan. ) have each earned KCAC Scholar-Athlete status, the conference office announced today (Apr. 19). Additionally, Bowen was named the Falcons' KCAC Champions of Character recipient, presented by IMA, Inc. and Dissinger Reed.The scholar-athlete award is sponsored by Barnes & Noble College, the official campus bookstore and course material provider of the KCAC.To qualify for this award, the student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing, maintain a minimum 3.250 cumulative grade point average and have attended one full year at the KCAC institution.The Men's Golf Falcons are currently competing at their first KCAC Tournament since 2015 in Garden City, Kan.
