[Men's Golf] Furlong Leads SXU Men's Golf at USF Spring Invite

Joliet, Ill. – Junior Michael Furlong (Evergreen Park, Ill./Brother Rice) shot a 78 (+7), his second lowest round of the season, and tied for 28th place for the Saint Xavier University men's golf team at the University of St. Francis Spring Invite at Wedgewood Golf Course in Joliet, Ill. Tuesday afternoon. As a team, the Cougars placed fifth out of eight team with a total score of 322 at the one-day event. Heartland Community College (Ill.) posted an even team score and Connor Butts of Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) recorded the lowest individual score with a -3 under round of 68.
