[Men's Golf] Furlong Places 15th; SXU Finishes 7th at CCAC Championship

Silvis, Ill. – Junior Michael Furlong (Evergreen Park, Ill./Brother Rice) posted a three-round total of 230 (+17) and finished in a tie for 15th at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championship at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. over two days on Monday and Tuesday. As a team, the Cougars placed 7th out of 11 teams with a total score of 984 (+132).Roosevelt University (Ill.) won the team title, winning by 10 strokes over Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) with a total of 888. Individually, Collin Todora from Holy Cross College (Ill.) won by one shot with a score of 216 (+3) over Owen Hultman from St. Ambrose University (Iowa).
