Men's Golf Opens Season at The Gauntlet as Stoker Shoots Back-to-Back 77s

NEW TRIPOLI, Pa. — The New Jersey City University men's golf team opened up its 2021-22 season with the 36-hole tournament, The Gauntlet, hosted at Olde Homestead Golf Club. NJCU placed 11th overall on the team side of things, finishing with a two-round score of 730 strokes. Individually, five Gothic Knights represented the program over the weekend, led by freshman Evan Stoker (Clinton, N.J./Vorhees). The rookie tied for 17th out of 60 golfers with a plus-10 two-round score of 154 after shooting back-to-back 77s.
