[Men's Golf] Saint Xavier Men's Golf Takes Part in NAIA Midwest Invite

Silvis, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University men's golf team placed 16th out of 16 teams at the two-day NAIA Midwest Invitational held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. that started on Monday, September 26 and concluded Tuesday afternoon. The Cougars had a team score of 707 (+66), they shot a total of 357 on Monday and improved their score by seven strokes on day two. Senior Michael Furlong (Evergreen Park, Ill./Brother Rice) was the top SXU individual, tying for 44th place with a score of 163 (+21). He shot a round of 80 in round one and finished with a score of 83 Tuesday afternoon.
