[Men's Golf] SXU Men's Golf Competes at ONU Bill Johnson Fall Invite

St. Anne, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University men's golf team placed 12th out of 12 teams at the two-day Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) Bill Johnson Fall Invitational at Elks Country Club in St. Anne, Ill. this past Friday and Saturday. The Cougars had a team score of 654 (+78), they shot a total of 335 on Friday and improved their score by 16 strokes in round two. Senior Michael Furlong (Evergreen Park, Ill./Brother Rice) was the top SXU individual, tying for 11th place with a score of 149 (+5). He shot a 76 on Friday afternoon and turned in a card of 73 on Saturday.
