Ryan's 1,000-Meter Record Highlights Track and Field's Return

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas City Track and Field made its long-awaited return on Saturday, competing in the Bob Timmons Challenge in Lawrence, Kan. The Roos made a splash with 12 top-five finishes, including a program indoor record as Ally Ryan took first in the 1,000-yard race with a time of 2:49.93. Ryan demolished the previous record of 2:54.46, set by Sommer Herner in 2019.
