Schmid Named Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Former University of Louisville All-American Matthias Schmid has become the second German to be crowned Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year, after Martin Kaymer in 2007, following a breakthrough season and secured his status for the DP World Tour in 2022 just three months after turning professional.
