Soaring Eagles in 5th Place After Opening Round of Empire 8 Championship

BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. – The Elmira College men's golf team finished the opening day of the fall portion of the 2022-23 Empire 8 Men's Golf Championship in 5th place after shooting a 360 (+72) at Timber Banks Golf Club. The Soaring Eagles were paced on day one by Jack Finnerty '23 and Shane Haviland '24 as the pair each carded an 88 (+16) which is tied for 22nd place out of 47 golfers in the field.
