Spartans set numerous round records in opening round of NACC Championship

Records fell on behalf of the Aurora University men's golf team and senior Jack Vercautren in the opening round of the 2022-2023 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship. As a team, the Spartans fired a record setting 280 and were led by a single round record six-under 66 from Vercautren. Hot on his heels are teammates Scott Boyajian (four-under 68) and Braeden Duncan (one-under 71). The blistering pace has the Spartans in the lead after 18-holes by 29 strokes.
