Women’s Basketball Adds Shekinah Guthrie to Incoming Class

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Following a strong senior season at Palm Beach Atlantic, Shekinah Guthrie (Atlanta, Ga./Centennial HS/Florida Southwestern/Palm Beach Atlantic) has officially joined the FGCU women's basketball team as announced by head coach Karl Smesko. The 5-foot-10 forward was the leading scorer for the Sailfish last season averaging 11.8 points and was tabbed the SSC Defensive Player of the Year in 2020-21.
