AMU Charges Up Leaderboard in Kansas

HUTCHINSON, Kan.- The Ave Maria University men's golf team charged up the leaderboard on Tuesday, gaining six spots to finish seventh in a competitive field at the Prairie Dunes Collegiate in Hutchinson, Kansas. Played in the midst of heavy wind in Kansas, Ave Maria had the third best score among the 17 teams in the second round, passing six teams, including several NAIA schools, an NCAA Division II school, and a former NAIA national champion.
