Augsburg Nips Yellowjackets in Women’s Soccer Opener, 2-1

Sophomore forward Mya Holmquist (Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo) scored in the 14th minute to knot the match at 1-1, but Augsburg's Samantha Meyer notched the game winner in the 69th as the Auggies defeated the UW-Superior women's soccer team, 2-1, at NBC Spartan Sports Complex in the season opener for both on Thursday.
