Barry's Svensson Making Mark at Masters

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (Thursday, April 6, 2023) — Former Barry University men's golfer Adam Svensson is making his first Masters appearance today in Augusta, Georgia. In November in St. Simons Island, he closed with rounds of 64-62-64 to win by two. The 29-year-old not only earned his first career PGA Tour win, he also earned his first Masters invitation and what will be his first major championship start. Finished T-9 in Los Angeles in February and T-13 in The Players Championship in March. After losing his PGA Tour card in 2019 and returning to the Korn Ferry Tour, he acknowledged that he had relied mostly on his talent when he was younger and knew he needed to put more effort in to succeed. "You can say you work hard, but in the end, you've actually got to do the work."
