Big Second Round Propels Golf to Top 5 Finish at D3 Showcase

FRENCH LICK, IN–The Greensboro College men's golf team braved the elements at Hanover College at the D3 Showcase, and battled to get a spot into the top 5 overall place at the event.  Despite going only two rounds due to inclement weather, the team rallied to score a best overall team score of 281 on Tuesday.  Jerrion Dukes finished 16th individually, behind a second round score of 70.  He scored a total of nine birdies, while Carson Castelli also pitched in scores of 75 and 74.  Davis Reynolds and Zachary Swink each scored rounds of 77 and 71, while Connor Brown really made the difference in round two with a score of 69, which was tied for the second best individual effort.
