Brad Whitaker Wins 100th Maryland State Amateur

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University men's golf rising senior Brad Whitaker is back on the golf course making a name for himself by winning the 100th Maryland State Amateur Championship earlier this month. This was Whitaker's re-introduction to competition after the COVID-19 pandemic canceled all play for the past 16 months. Playing six rounds in five days, he proved himself against fellow collegiate players as well as other amateurs of all ages and playing levels at Rolling Road Golf Club in Catonsville, Maryland.
