Canon Claycomb, Thomas Ponder Help Alabama to Share of Overall Lead after 36 Holes of Rod Myers Invitational

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's golf team carded a second-round score of 7-under par 281 Friday afternoon to vault into a tie for first place after 36 holes of the Rod Myers Invitational. After beginning the day by shooting a 1-over par 289, the Crimson Tide caught fire in round two and is tied with North Florida for the team lead at 6-under par 570 heading into Saturday final 18 holes.
