Canon Claycomb’s Clutch Comeback Falls Just Short in Extra Holes in Drama-Filled Final Round at the NCAA Bryan Regional

BRYAN, Texas – Alabama's Canon Claycomb rallied throughout Wednesday's final round of the 2022 NCAA Men's Golf Bryan Regional, forcing a four-man playoff to determine the top individual finisher on a non-advancing team before falling just short. Claycomb closed the event in a five-way tie for fifth overall with a 3-under total of 213 (72-70-71), while teammate Thomas Ponder tied for 39th with a 222 (73-73-76).
