Cardinals Wrap up Academic Honors with 56 Commissioner’s Honor Roll Members

Wheeling, W. Va. Wheeling, W. Va. – On Thursday, the Mountain East Conference (MEC) honored its student-athletes for their work in the classroom with the release of their Academic All-MEC and Commissioner's Honor Roll teams. It was a record setting fall for the Wheeling University athletic department with 142 total student-athletes being honored for their work in the classroom. After putting 86 athletes on the Academic All-MEC list earlier today, the Cardinals kept the success going with 56 student-athletes earning spots on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
