Castillo's Monster Second Round Pushes HPU to 8th on Day One of Daniel Island Intercollegiate

CHARLESTON, S.C. – High Point currently sits in eighth place after the first two rounds of the 2021 Daniel Island Intercollegiate. The Panthers were led in the first round by Charlie Barr, who recorded a 73 in the first round going +1 then followed that up with a in the second round. Barr had three birdies in the first round, but it was Castillo who propelled the Panthers to eighth place with breakout second round shooting -4.  The Panthers ended the day shooting a total of 589 as a team after 36 holes.
