SAVANNAH, Ga. — Making history for the Christopher Newport golf program, the Captains opened up the 2022 Savannah Invitational with a record-shattering performance to take the lead in the talented 19-team field. The Captains fired back-to-back rounds under par for just the second time in program history and matched the fourth best single round in relation to par in Monday's second round with a two-under 282.
