Coach Mike Shines 1952-2023

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of our beloved Mike Shines.  Mike was a mentor, a confidant, a true friend and a pillar of our athletic department.  I cannot begin to express what Coach Shines has meant to all of us.  His impact on our students, faculty, staff and community is immeasurable.  He was a true Yote.  We will have a hole in our department and in our hearts.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Donna and his family as well as all who were blessed to know Coach Shines.
