Crimson Hawks bounce back, lead after first round at Grove City CC

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The IUP men's golf team put together their most impressive first round performance of the fall as the Crimson Hawks lead after the first round of Clarion's annual Hal Hansen Invitational at Grove City Country Club. 

The Hawks shot a 4-over 292 as a team to lead Mercyhurst by one stroke after the first 18 holes. The 292 is the second best round by the team in four events this fall, trailing only the 288 shot during the second round of the Mercyhurst Invitational two weeks ago.
