Crimson Hawks third after first day of PSAC Championships

HERSHEY, Pa. – The IUP men's golf team sits eight strokes back after the opening round of the 2021 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships at Hershey Country Club. 

The Crimson Hawks shot an 8-over 292 on the first 18 holes and sit behind overall leader Pitt-Johnstown (284) and second place Gannon (289). IUP has a five-stroke lead over fourth place Mercyhurst (297) and lead Shepherd and Mercyhurst (299) by seven strokes.
