Crown Men Battle at UMAC Preview; Wookey and Thomas Lead the Way

BECKER, Minn. – The Crown College Men's golf team faced off with the entire UMAC conference for the first time on Monday at Pebble Creek. Titus Wookey was steady throughout, finishing top 15 in the field with an 82 and bouncing back from a very tough first hole. Lane Thomas was on point with his irons, setting himself up for 11 birdie opportunities and converting on one of the most challenging holes on the course, hole 6. The par 3 demands a precision tee shot with a 160 yard carry over a pond. Thomas's shot rolled over the cup and was just centimeters from going in for the ace.
