CSU Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams Complete PGA Works Collegiate Championship

Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. — The Chicago State men's golf team shot 330 in their final round at the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The effort pushed the Cougars past North Carolina Central on the leader board and into an eighth-place finish. On the women's side, Darinka Velazquez was the lone competitor for the Cougars and she finished 16th, posting rounds of 88-81-89 for a three-round total of 259. Adriana Gonzalez had to withdraw due to injury.
