CSU Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams Complete Second Round Action at the PGA Works Collegiate Championship

Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. — The Chicago State men's golf team trimmed 31 strokes off their first-round total and remain in ninth place after the second day of action at the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The men posted a 311 today after shooting 342 Monday. On the women's side, Adriana Gonzalez had to withdraw due to injury, leaving Darinka Velazquez as the lone competitor for the Cougars. She is currently in 16th, up two spots from Monday, after shooting 81 today, for a two-round total of 169 (+25).
