CSU Women's Golfers in Eighth After Day 1 Action

The Chicago State's women's golf team is in eighth place out of 15 teams after the first round of the Seventh Annual Roseann Schwartz Invitational hosted by Youngstown University. The Cougars shot a +26 (314) at the Mill Creek Golf Course (6,088 yards, par 72) in Boardman, Ohio, 17 shots behind leader Akron (297). CSU junior Koranis Boonmadee was the low finisher for the Cougars and is currently tied for 14th, recording a 76 (+4), one shot in front of freshman teammate Montserrat Ramirez and senior Na'Kia Smith who each shot 77 (+5).
