Eastern Posts Lowest Round in Finale of the Ross Collegiate

The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team turned in the lowest team score of Tuesday's third round to shoot up six positions to finish in sixth place in a challenging field at the Ross Collegiate Classic. Head Coach Bruce Cunningham's squad notched a six-under 282 in the final round, two strokes better than the next closest score of 284 fired by Loyola-Chicago. EMU finished with a two-day total of 879 (301-296-282) on the par 72, 6,657-yard Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club.
