Eckman Top 10 After Day One of NCCAA Championship

PALM COAST, Fla. – Day one of the NCCAA National Golf Championship is in the books, and the University of Northwestern's Morgan Eckman is very much in the mix. Competing as one of two student-athletes who qualified individually, in addition to the six full teams in the field, the freshman rode a hot start and a strong finish to remain in striking distance after the first of three rounds at Hammock Beach Resort's Conservatory Course. Eckman posted a score of 83 (+11) and is tied for 10th in the individual competition.
