Fighting Hawks take fifth at Summit League Championships

NEWTON, Kan.– North Dakota finished fifth in the team standings after a wind-swept 54 holes at the Summit League Championships held at Sand Creek Station Golf Course Saturday through Monday. Individually, the Fighting Hawks were paced by freshman Carrie Carpenter, who shot an opening-round 78 on the way to a 243, taking 14th in field of golfers.
