FLAME FEATURES – Golfing Blood Runs Deep in Maupin Family

There was a time when the name of Tom Maupin claimed its share of the headlines when it came to amateur golf in the sports sections of the Cleveland and Chattanooga area newspapers. He could be found on any given day working on his game at the no longer existing Rolling Hill Golf Club. As the cliché goes, "like father, like son." No question this applies to Tom's son John, who is currently the Director of Golf for the men and women programs at Lee University.
