Flanagan leads MSU to seventh-place finish at Poppy Hills Patriot Invitational

PEBBLE HILLS, Calif. — Midwestern State's Brecklyn Flanagan notched her third Top 10 individual finish of the season, and helped the Mustangs to a seventh-place team finish in the Patriot Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Poppy Hills Country Club.

The junior from Murphy, Texas, enjoyed her top finish of the campaign after logging scores of 78, 72, and 77 for a 14-over 227 to tie for 15th. Flanagan was coming off of a 20th-place showing at the St. Mary's Rattler Invitational and was 18th at the Sam Proal Insurance Invitational last fall in Pueblo, Colorado.
