Four Wildcats inside the top 20 following opening round

Chris Colla carded a 3-over par 75 and Tyler Ashman, Dakota Ochoa and Mark Noonan all posted 77s as the Chico State men's golf team finished the first day, and opening round, of the Western Washington University Men's Invitational in a tie for fourth place, six strokes off the lead. The teams were originally scheduled to play 36 holes Monday, but bad weather kept them to only 18. They'll finish the event Tuesday with another 18.
