[Golf] Bulldogs move up in Leaderboard after Round two

Tennessee Wesleyan was in 13th place following the first round of the NAIA Men's Golf National Championships on Tuesday at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla., but was able to move up two spots to 11th after the second day of play.On the first day, the Bulldogs fired a nine-over 297 and sat 12 strokes back of leader Coastal Georgia, which posted a three-under 285. Tennessee Wesleyan was five strokes outside of the top 10 as Texas Wesleyan and Johnson & Wales (Fla.) were tied for ninth at four-over 292. Keoni Vidrine lead the Bulldogs individually as he fired an even-par 72 to place in a tie for 21st overall. After a second consecutive round of posting a team score of 297, the Bulldogs now sit 11th overall. With a total tally of 594, the Bulldogs sit 19 strokes back of leader Coastal Georgia, which owns a score of 575. Tennessee Wesleyan is three strokes outside of the top 10 as Bristish Columbia and Oklahoma Baptist are tied for ninth at 591.Josh Wheeler and Keoni Vidrine lead the Bulldogs individually with each compiling a two-day score of 145, which is good enough to tie them for 13th overall. The Bulldogs tee off today for the 3rd and final round of play before the cut at 12:30 pm on the 10th hole.  They are paired with British Columbia and Embry Riddle. For complete stats, please click here.
