[Golf] Golf teams sitting strong after MSC Championship opening round

Mid-South Conference Championship golf teed off the postseason for spring sports Monday afternoon in Springfield, Ky. Georgetown College men and women find themselves middle of the pack after round one.On the women's side, Georgetown shot a 336 – 10 strokes ahead of Cumberland University and 60 better than St. Catharine College. Katie Jones, tied for 15th with two rounds to play, shot a team-best 81. Sydney Swingo was two spots back and one-shot back with an 82. Lauren Von Ohlen tied with six other ladies in 18th with an 83. Deanna Johnson's 90 was the other scoring card for the Tigers on day one.
