[Golf] Men's and Women's Golf Open Spring Seasons

Men – Evangel Spring Invite – Rivercut Golf Course – Springfield, Mo.The Sterling varsity men's golf team started their spring season with a 2-day tournament in Springfield, Mo. at the Evangel Spring Invite. The course is a par 72, 6779 yard course.After the first day, Sterling was in second place, trailing William Woods by just three strokes and barely edging out future conference member, Evangel University, by just two strokes making for an interesting second day. The Warriors shot a 317 as a team on the first day. Sterling's top player for the tournament, Nicholas Ritchie, was just 2 strokes off the lead and in third place heading into day 2.
