Gough's Big Round Helps Send #28 Men's Golf into Match Play of C-USA Championship

TEXARKANA, Ark. – The 28th-ranked Charlotte men's golf team did what they needed to do on Wednesday climbing up to fourth place after stroke play qualifying for the match play portion of the Conference USA Championship on Thursday. Entering the day fifth, the Niners made the one-spot jump holding off Middle Tennessee, Louisiana Tech and UAB by four to claim the fourth and final spot. Conor Gough posted a three-under 69 to help get the Niners to Thursday.
