Halvorsen Drops Eight Strokes Off Score to Lead Cardinals on Day Two

Columbus, OH. – After a productive day one at the Capital Fall Classic for Morgan's Message on Sunday, the Wheeling University Men's Golf team returned to the course on Monday. The Cardinals would finish 6th in the field with a two round score of 630 after shooting a 319 over the final 18 holes of play. Freshman Phil Halvorsen led the way with the biggest drop in score from day one to day two as he led the Cardinals in their final tune-up before the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Championships.
