Hardwork/Milestones Drive Wheeling Athletics Through 2021-2022 Season

Wheeling, W. Va. – With the final whistle of Wheeling Rugby's match against Indiana at the Shrine on Alpine in New Orleans, LA. the 2021-2022 Wheeling University Athletics Season ended. It was a year full of ups and downs as the Cardinals battled on the fields and courts across the Mountain East Conference as they grew both in and out of competition. In the end, three conference champions were crowned, three players earned All-American Awards, and several others received All-Region and All-Conference awards. It was a year of milestones for the Cardinals as the Athletic Department continues to trend up towards the future.
