Hoelting Scores First-Career Goal in Draw with No. 18 SIUE

KANSAS CITY – Kansas City Men's Soccer dominated possession and appeared the better team for most of the game, but No. 18 SIUE sunk a late PK and the game resulted in a 1-1 draw. The first half was a defensive battle, with the Roos getting a few good looks but nothing coming of it. In the second half, the Roos broke through with a goal from Luke Hoelting early, but an unfortunate foul in the penalty box gave SIUE the equalizing goal with just four minutes remaining.
