Iona Golf Finishes First Event of the Fall Season

FARMINGDALE, NY – Iona Men's Golf team battled the weather, dealing with a one hour rain delay at Bethpage state park on Long Island. The Gaels teed off the red course, playing at 7,092 yards and a par 70. Participating in the Doc Gimmler hosted by St. John's University for the third year in a row and sixth time in the past eight years. The Doc Gimmler is a 54-hole event with two rounds played yesterday and the final 18 holes played today.
